Godhead es una banda americana que procede de la escena underground de Washington DC. Allí inicio su carrera a principios de los 90, apoyado en Jason Miller (Guitarra y Vocalista), Bruce Brandstatter (Bajo) y Dwayne Reid (Batería). Los primeros pasos de Miller, seguidor de Bowie, The Cure y Pink Floyd, fueron a través de realizar varios conciertos por Washington y alrededores. En 1992, se produciría la baja de Dwayne Reid, que sería sustituido por otro batería llamado John Pettit.
