Placebo es un grupo musical de rock alternativo creado en 1995 en Londres, Inglaterra. Esta banda está formada por: Brian Molko (vocalista, guitarrista y líder), y Stefan Olsdal (bajista). El día 1 de octubre de 2007, en un comunicado oficial en la web de la banda, se informó que el baterista Steve Heweit abandonó el grupo.
