Tras la separación de Rata Blanca, Gustavo Rowek y Sergio Berdichevsky deciden formar una nueva banda. Para llevar a cabo este nuevo desafío convocan al bajista Javier Tumini y a Fernando “Carucha” Podestá a quien conocían de haber producido el material de su anterior banda. Es así que a mediados de 1998, queda formado Nativo.
