HIM es una banda musical procedente de Finlandia, creadores del género musical Love Metal y del popular símbolo Heartagram. Después de varios cambios en sus componentes, actualmente está formada por el vocalista Ville Hermanni Valo, el guitarrista Lily Lazer (también conocido como Linde), el bajista Migé Amour, el baterista Gas Lipstick y el teclista Emerson Burton. Su fama comenzó en Europa con el single "Join Me In Death", o abreviado "Join Me" (usado en la BSO de la película 13th Floor y en la de Resident Evil: Apocalypse), que fue número uno en las listas alemanas en el año 2000. Esta banda es reconocida por un distintivo creado por Ville Valo, líder de la banda, que recibe el nombre de Heartagram, el cual es una combinación entre un corazón y un pentagrama invertido, y que representa el límite entre el amor y la muerte.
