Nacido en San Juan, Puerto Rico, en el seno de una familia que entendió su vocación musical desde pequeño, Luis Fonsi presenta en 2003 su tercer disco, titulado Abrazar la vida, del cual se desprende como primer sencillo la balada pop compuesta por él mismo “¿Quién te dijo eso?”, mismo que alcanzó los primeros lugares en las listas de radio de Billboard desde su lanzamiento. Los discos que le precedieron fueron el debut Comenzaré, en 1997, y Eterno, en 2000, los cuales lo consolidaron como una de las promesas del pop latino a nivel Latinoamérica. Entre lo más destacado en su amplia carrera se encuentran premios como múltiples Discos de Oro y Platino en distintos países de Latinoamérica. Fonsi ha realizado duetos con figuras importantes de la escena musical actual, como Christina Aguilera, Jaci Velásquez y Olga Tañón. Y participó con Britney Spears en su gira mundial de 2002 como el acto abridor de sus conciertos, incluidos los dos celebrados en el Foro Sol mexicano.
