TLC, trío de R&B nacido en Atlanta en 1991, estaba formado por Tionne Watkins (Des Moines, Iowa, 26 de abril de 1970), Rozonda Thomas (Atlanta, Georgia, 27 de febrero de 1971) y Lisa Lopes (Filadelfia, 27 de mayo de 1971). Las siglas TLC corresponden a las inciales de los apodos de sus tres componentes: T-Boz (Tionne), Left Eye (Lisa) y Chilli (Rozonda). Asimismo, dichas letras también forman una de las abreviaciones de las cartas de amor o cariño que se envían los jóvenes norteamericanos.
