My Chemical Romance (nombre inglés que puede traducirse como "Mi Romance Químico") es una banda estadounidense cuyos miembros provienen de Belleville y Kearny, Nueva Jersey y, su baterista, de Chicago. El género musical de este grupo es muy debatido, ellos tienen influencias de Iron Maiden, Black Flag, The Misfits, The Smiths, Morrissey, The Cure, Queen y de los Pixies. A principios de su carrera su estilo era claramente el post hardcore, pero ahora el grupo ha madurado musicalmente, y se le asocia más bien al rock alternativo. El quinteto ha vendido más de 10 millones de copias alrededor de todo el mundo, por lo que se le considera una de las más influyentes bandas de la década. El nombre del grupo viene de un libro escrito por Irvine Welsh llamado "Éxtasis" (en inglés "Ecstasy: three tales of chemical romance").
